Refurbished Roche cobas 8000 Core Dual ISE Chemistry Analyzer The cobas 8000 Core Dual ISE is a variant of the Roche cobas 8000 Core. The same core unit, paired with Roche's double ISE module. That module runs two ISE units side by side, each with its own sodium, potassium and chloride electrodes and reference electrode, for up to 1,800 tests an hour. The core unit's 300-sample loading, STAT port and routing to your chemistry and immunoassay modules don't change. Refurbished Roche Cobas 8000 Core Dual ISE installed in a laboratory by a Diamond field engineer What the second ISE unit changes in your lab 600 electrolyte samples an hour instead of 300. A single ISE unit runs 900 tests an hour, which is 300 samples with sodium, potassium and chloride on each. The core unit can move up to 1,000 samples an hour, and a cobas c 701 or c 702 module runs up to 2,000 tests an hour. When most of your tubes carry a basic or comprehensive metabolic panel, a single ISE becomes the slowest step on the line. Two units keep electrolytes moving at the pace of the rest of the system. A sample every 6 seconds instead of every 12. The shorter sampling cycle means a STAT potassium from the ED waits half as long for its turn at the ISE during the morning draw. No extra floor space. The double ISE module has the same 45 x 114 x 115 cm footprint as the single version and weighs 10 kg more. You double electrolyte capacity without redrawing your site plan. Nothing changes in your results. Each ISE unit uses the same three ion-selective electrodes and reference electrode, the same 15 µL sample volume, the same measuring ranges and the same ISE reagents. Methods and reference ranges carry over from a single-ISE cobas 8000. Two sets of electrodes to keep up. You'll replace and maintain electrodes on both units. Reagent use follows the number of tests you run, so ISE diluent, internal standard and reference electrolyte don't double. Which cobas 8000 core build fits your lab Choose the cobas 8000 Core Dual ISE if you run a hospital core lab with heavy ED, ICU and inpatient electrolyte volume, or you're pairing the core unit with high-throughput c 701 or c 702 modules. Choose the cobas 8000 Core ISE if 300 electrolyte samples an hour covers your peak, which is typical for systems built around c 502 modules. Choose the cobas 8000 Core on its own if you already own an ISE module or your electrolytes run on blood gas or stand-alone electrolyte analyzers. Our engineers install it, connect it to your modules, verify sodium, potassium and chloride on both ISE units, and service the core unit and ISE module afterward. Finance up to $2 million with $0 down and roll shipping into the payments, and trade in the analyzer it replaces. REQUEST A QUOTE cobas 8000 Core Dual ISE FAQ Q: What's the difference between the cobas 8000 ISE 900 and ISE 1800?A: The ISE 900 has one ISE unit and runs up to 900 tests, or 300 samples, an hour. The ISE 1800 has two units and runs up to 1,800 tests, or 600 samples, an hour. Both fit the same footprint and use the same electrodes and reagents. Q: Which sample types does the dual ISE module run?A: Serum, plasma, urine, CSF and supernatant. It pipettes 15 µL per sample, or 10 µL on a first urine run. Q: Can I add a second ISE unit to a single-ISE cobas 8000?A: Yes
