Location: Holliston, MA

Job Duties:

• Analyze and validate medical device instruments and identify root cause of problems.
• Prepare validation documentation for systems or equipment used in in-vitro diagnostic testing.
• Performing and implementing testing validation for medical devices.
• Identify problems and modifying test methods to achieve intended use of medical devices.
• Maintain strict disciplinary testing protocol for validation of medical devices.
• Populate and maintain databases for tracking validation and test results of medical devices (i.e.: hematology, coagulation, flow cytometry).
• Determine root cause failure based on validation reports.
• Perform technical field service activities to support up to biosafety level 3 medical and research facilities, including installation, training, service, preventive maintenance, and validation of diagnostic equipment.
• Resolve testing problems by checking in-depth electronics and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Provide diagnostics assistance to customers after post installation failures.
• Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation for refurbishment process and validation.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs), training and preventive maintenance procedures and documentation.

Requirements:

Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related engineering field.

Location: Katy, TX

Job Duties:

• Perform ongoing technical instruction programs with instruction and educational materials to assure maximum technical effectiveness of Diamond field service.
• Directly support customers and Diamond Field Service personnel with technical information provided by telephone or in person for on-site service.
• Communicate product updates and new repair techniques through written technical bulletins and other media.
• Perform instruction and instructional materials for technical services training course on currently supported products.
• Perform Field Installations, Field Service and Training on Instrumentation.
• Perform Rebuilding, Repair, Service and Diagnostics of Clinical Laboratory Instrumentation.
• Perform Refurbished Instrumentation Validation & Related Ongoing Activities.
• Assess, Recommend, Plan and Implement Structural reform in processes, administration, personnel or systems.
• Comply with all company policies and external regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or closely related field and two years of experience with clinical laboratory instrumentation or clinical laboratory science and mechanical or electromechanical devices.

Position also requires up to 80% domestic travel.
