of refurbished instrumentation seamless while offering existing instrumentation in your laboratory more cost-effective service arrangements. Covering 23
manufacturers and over 250 models, Diamond provides our customers and prospective customers with various options custom-tailored to the laboratory’s needs.
Field Service Options
All units sold by Diamond Diagnostics or units qualified by Diamond Diagnostics are eligible for Field Service coverage. Service plans are the best way to maximize your instrument investment and avoid the high costs associated with instrument failure. Our plans are designed to support optimum instrument performance, ensure reproducible results and minimize down-time. Our service plans provide a timely response from our dedicated engineers who certified on an ongoing basis to ensure top-notch results, even in the most complex laboratory environments.
The following classifications
The choice for laboratories that must be up around the clock, The Platinum program provides coverage for your instrumentation with full labor, travel and material costs included to keep your system operational. Support is delivered within 1 day, regardless of weekends and holidays. Platinum Plus is the ultimate service to laboratories.
The most popular plan available to laboratories, The Gold program provides coverage for your instrumentation with full labor, travel and material costs included to keep your system operational. Support is delivered within 1 business day during normal business hours, Monday – Friday. Gold offers a balance of the needed support with a reasonable and fixed cost structure.
For the laboratory looking to have the flexibility of superior service without the commitment to a full year service plan, the Silver Flex plan is the appropriate choice. SIlver Flex allows the client to pay a reduced hourly rate with support guaranteed within 2 business days. Travel costs are fixed and the client is responsible for any material costs incurred.
For the laboratory unable to commit but looking for continuous support, the Flex plan is the appropriate choice. The Flex plan provides ultimate flexibility without the commitment. Support is provided within 2 business days. Travel costs are fixed and the client is responsible for any material costs incurred.
For the laboratory employing qualified service professionals, the Virtual plan may be a suitable choice to replace or supplement Field Services. The Virtual plan offers its customers support by email and telephone, within business hours with communication directly with Clinical Engineering staff specialized in the model of instrumentation that the laboratory is utilizing. The Virtual Plan is annual.
