CURRENT OPENINGS

CLINICAL SERVICE ENGINEER
Position entails the diagnosis and repair of moderately complex Medical Laboratory instrumentation used for clinical diagnostics. Also encompassed is Instrument refurbishment, service and the troubleshooting of various mechanical, electromechanical and electrical components and assembly. Also entailed is the final instrumentation calibration and quality control prior to release. Qualifications require a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science. Previous experience with electromechanical devices or instrumentation required with strong mechanical skills for diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair.

CLINICAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Position entails several aspects of disassembly, refurbishment and reassembly of various moderately complex Medical Laboratory instrumentation used for clinical diagnostics. Encompassed in this process are aesthetic overhauls of the physical apparatus, rebuilding, repair and testing of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic assemblies and components, the repair of metal and plastic parts and the reassembly of equipment to original conditions. Qualifications require previous practical experience with repair or assembly of mechanical or electromechnical devices or equipment.

CHEMISTRY LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Position entails testing of products for the purpose of function testing, stability verification, correlation studies and use life studies. Additionally encompasses chemistry formulation, electrode testing, maintenance of testing schedules, logging and data entry of testing results, maintenance of inventory of standards, chemicals, supplies and the continuous maintenance of laboratory instrumentation. Qualifications require a minimum of AS or BS in Chemistry, Biology, Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Sciences; a minimum of 2 years experience in clinical or chemistry lab environment, previous chemistry formulation preferred and MLT certification helpful. Strong organization, communication and computer skills also required.
